Our own traffic analytics are cookieless. The cookies that do get set come from advertising measurement tags while a campaign is running, and from embedded video and scheduling tools. Here is exactly what they are and how to switch them off.
What we use on this site
Less than most sites. We want to be specific rather than paste a generic list, so here is the real picture.
Strictly necessary
Our host sets a small number of cookies needed to serve pages, balance traffic, and protect the site from abuse. The site cannot work properly without these, so they are not optional.
Analytics
We measure traffic with a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics product. It reports aggregate patterns such as which pages get viewed and where visitors came from. It does not set an advertising cookie, does not build a profile on you, and does not follow you to other websites.
Advertising and measurement
We advertise on platforms including Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. When a campaign is running, those platforms' measurement tags may be active on this site so we can tell which ads produced an inquiry and how much they cost us.
Where a tag is active, it sets its own cookies and reports page views and form submissions back to that platform. The platform may use that activity to measure the campaign, to build advertising audiences, and to show you ads elsewhere. We do not receive a list of who you are from this, and we do not use it to identify individual visitors.
You can turn this off at the source, which covers every site rather than just ours:
- Meta: Accounts Center, then Ad preferences
- Google: myadcenter.google.com
- Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.eu
- Browser level: block third-party cookies, which stops these tags from linking you across sites
Our own traffic analytics are separate from all of this and stay cookieless.
Functional, set by embedded services
Some pages embed tools built by other companies. When one of those loads, that company can set its own cookies and see your IP address and the page you are on. This happens whether or not you interact with the embed.

Each of these companies publishes its own cookie and privacy policy, which governs what it does with that data.
How to control cookies
Beyond the advertising opt-outs above, you have full control at the browser level:
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, under Privacy or Security. Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies specifically, which stops the embedded services above without breaking the site.
- Use private or incognito browsing, which clears cookies when you close the window.
- Turn on tracking protection. Safari, Firefox, Brave, and Edge block cross-site tracking by default or with one setting.
Blocking all cookies may stop the video players or the scheduler from loading. The rest of the site will work normally.
Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. No common standard exists for how sites should respond to Do Not Track, so we do not act on it. Blocking third-party cookies, or using the platform opt-outs above, is the reliable way to stop cross-site advertising tracking.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when what we use changes, including when we add or remove a measurement tag. The date at the top reflects the current version.
